Spark Group privacy policy

1. You will not be spammed. We think unsolicited, irrelevant email is bad for clients and bad for the public.

2. We know that just because you joined a mailing list some months ago that doesn’t mean you want to be there forever. So you can get off a mailing list at any time, no questions asked. We put an unsubscribe link on every message we send to allow you to do this.

3. We sign confidentiality agreements with our clients covering the email databases that we use on their behalf. But if a client ever handed us an email database without asking us to sign a confidentiality agreement we would still treat the data as confidential. We will not share your details with any 3rd party.

4. We do track the emails that we send electronically to help us improve our communication. An example of how this works is that if no-one opened an email we had sent, then we would talk with the client about making the content more interesting. We also track the web site electronically but we can’t tell who you are unless you tell us.

5. The Spark Group policy applies to the data we collect and not that collected by companies with whom we do business. But we do try to get all our clients to the same professional level. We also encourage you to read the privacy policy of sites where you sign up your details.

6. In the event of the business being sold, merged or otherwise transferred the information we maintain may be transferred by us as part of this. This has never happened but it is possible in theory so we thought we should let you know.

7. The only exception to the privacy policy is if a court order or police request was ever made to access our data. We think the chance of this is about the same as the chance of a snowstorm in the Nullarbor but again we thought you should know.

8. If you have any suggestions to improve this privacy policy please let us know. We appreciate your help.
